About Artist
Leo Islo is the solo project of Portland-based artist Matt Pahler. He was born in Santiago, Chile, Islo – the son of an American Air Force Major and an Interior Designer. His earliest memories are of travelling the world and exploring new cities. After moving from Los Angeles to Portland Islo became enthrawled with the world of electronic music. His influences are Jai Paul, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Toro Y Moi, Caribou, Washed Out, and Grimes.
