The duo is based in Denver, CO and comprised of Paige Duché and Ross Ryan. The pair met in 2017 through a Youtube cover but did not begin writing songs together until almost a year later and started creating their unique sound from their small basement studio.

When it comes to their music style, the duo blends indie-pop, with soothing vocals. As said on their website, "Hi, we’re Lucy Daydream and we’re here to make pop weird again."
