About Artist

The World Of Birds is a trio of musicians from Cape Town. Comprised of Nicholas Preen from the band Al Bairre, Conor Paul McCarthy from the band Cute Couple and Benjamin Samuel McCarthy from the band ORACLES.

At the beginning, the trio came together with the purpose of helping Preen’s solo career. He'd previously been the lead singer of Al Bairre, one of South Africa’s popular indie bands. The three guys began a journey into the processes and mechanics of writing music that and chemistry sparked.
