Winona Oak, who's real name is Johanna Ekmark, was born and raised in rural Sweden. She grew up a trained horse acrobat and pursued writing poetry and songs from a young age. Winona began playing the violin at 5 years old and piano at 9 years, in addition to singing throughout her youth.
