About Artist
Winona Oak, who's real name is Johanna Ekmark, was born and raised in rural Sweden. She grew up a trained horse acrobat and pursued writing poetry and songs from a young age. Winona began playing the violin at 5 years old and piano at 9 years, in addition to singing throughout her youth. She's signed to Neon Gold / Atlantic Records and collaborated on The Chainsmokers’ “Hope."
