About Artist
Astrid Smeplass (stage name Astrid S) was born in October 1996 in Norway. She's a singer, songwriter and model. In 2013 when she was 16-years-old, she placed fifth in the Norwegian television version of Pop Idol, titled Idol - Jakten på en superstjerne. In 2018, Smeplass won Årets Spellemann (Artist of the Year) at the annual Spellemannsprisen, which is the Norwegian equivalent of the Grammys. Her fourth EP released in August 2019 titled Trust Issues. It features three singles released prior: "Someone New", "Emotion" and "The First One", along with two additional songs.
